The all-new D3 NRG R3 is built for skiers who love the feel of the ION 2 but want a ski that rides slightly higher in the water, with increased stability and support underfoot. Whether you're chasing buoys or just want a ski that feels confident and connected in all conditions, the NRG R3 is ready.
To elevate performance, D3 widened the forebody of the ski — providing more surface area for better tip engagement and allowing you to get up on the front of the ski with ease. That added width is perfectly balanced by a narrower tail, making it easy to carry speed through the turn and create tighter arcs with more control.
Another key upgrade: a slightly deeper concave than the R2 and ION 2. This gives the NRG R3 outstanding grip and performance, even in rougher water conditions. And with the proven ION 2 tail bevels, the R3 finishes the turn cleanly and confidently.
