The 2026 Hyperlite Murray Jr. Boys Wakeboard brings Shaun Murray’s legendary pro model shape to the next generation of riders. One of the most popular youth wakeboards in competitive wakeboarding, the Murray Jr. delivers explosive wake pop, forgiving landings, and lightweight performance designed specifically for young riders progressing behind the boat.

Built with Hyperlite’s Subtle 3-Stage Rocker, the Murray Jr. generates massive upward pop off the wake without the abrupt feel of traditional 3-stage rocker designs. Instead of a flat center section, the rocker gradually increases underfoot for a smoother approach while still delivering powerful lift for wake-to-wake tricks and progression.

Shaun Murray and legendary shaper Greg Nelson designed the Murray Jr. with a Variable Edge Design that gives young riders confidence as they progress. The edge remains forgiving between the bindings while sharpening underneath the rider for better control and stronger edging. Cupped tip and tail rails improve hold and consistency when cutting into the wake.

The lightweight Biolite 3 Core and Minimum Swing Weight Profile help reduce overall board weight, making spins, grabs, and air tricks easier for younger riders learning new skills. The Molded Landing Feature also helps soften landings and maintain control during progression.
