D3 MAX Slalom Water Ski
The widest slalom ski D3 has ever built.
New for 2026, the D3 MAX reimagines the traditional slalom shape by blending design elements from several of D3’s most successful skis—then adding width to create a ski that delivers maximum acceleration, support, and efficiency.
At 7.07" at its widest point, the MAX provides increased surface area that allows the ski to ride higher and more level on the water. This extra lift helps generate speed with less physical effort, giving skiers strong cross-course movement without having to overpower the ski.
The MAX combines the ARC tail design that so many skiers loved, the efficient tunnel of the Neo, and the balanced feel of the ION. The result is a ski that carries speed naturally and casts outward toward the buoy with a high swing on the boat.
A narrower tail profile (2.75") allows the ski to accelerate quickly while still giving the skier control over how the tail finishes the turn. Skiers can let the MAX push naturally through the arc of the turn, or drive it aggressively—similar to the turning style of the Neo 3. The rocker profile also follows a line closer to the Neo 3, helping maintain smooth, predictable acceleration through the course.
The result is a ski that feels supportive, powerful, and incredibly efficient, especially for skiers looking for speed and consistency without excessive load.

The Concept Behind MAX
The MAX is designed to give skiers the support of a wider platform without sacrificing performance. By combining proven elements from the ARC, Neo, and ION—then increasing the ski’s surface area—D3 created a ski that builds speed easily, carries angle naturally, and keeps the skier moving efficiently from buoy to buoy.
