Hyperlite’s first shipment of 2026 Genetic Loaded wakeboards has been delayed, but boards are now expected to begin arriving in limited quantities.

Designed, engineered, and manufactured at the Hyperlite Works factory in Arlington, Washington, the Genetic Loaded represents Hyperlite’s latest approach to premium, USA-made wakeboard construction. Developed through years of testing with Hyperlite’s professional riders, the Genetic Loaded combines explosive pop, controlled flex, fast edge response, and softer landings in a lightweight, precision-built package.

At the heart of the board is Hyperlite’s new Loaded Construction, featuring a lightweight PVC 100 foam core reinforced with 12K carbon stringers along both the top and base. Two 3mm solid fiberglass rods add additional strength and energy response while helping the board maintain its shape under heavy riding. The result is a board that feels exceptionally lively off the wake without becoming overly stiff or demanding.

The Genetic Loaded features a carefully refined flex pattern with more progressive tip and tail flex. This allows the board to load smoothly through the turn, release with increased energy at the wake, and remain comfortable and predictable on landings. Hyperlite’s monocoque construction bonds the board’s top and bottom laminates together around the sidewall, improving overall durability and helping protect against impact damage and delamination.

A three-stage rocker creates strong vertical lift and an explosive release from the wake. The board’s dual concave base helps direct water efficiently through the board, providing additional speed, control, and stability. Molded landing features soften impact and help the board remain composed when landing larger tricks or coming down into rough water.
